We're oibe PBC, LLC — a Delaware Public Benefit LLC based in Baltimore, Maryland. Our purpose is building financial literacy products for kids and families.

By using this site or placing an order, you're confirming that you're 18 or older, that you have the authority to make this purchase, and that the information you've given us is accurate.

Clicking "reserve" or completing checkout counts as your legal signature under federal e-signature law (E-SIGN). Same legal weight as signing a document.

oibe is designed for kids, but everything runs through parents. You — the parent or guardian — are the account holder. We don't collect information directly from children under 13.

When your kit is ready to ship, we'll ask for your child's first name and date of birth. We use that to confirm age-appropriateness and to keep track of siblings in the same household. That's it. Everything we collect is covered in our Privacy Policy.

By purchasing, you're telling us you're the parent or guardian of the child this kit is for, and that you're okay with the limited data collection described in our Privacy Policy.

You're reserving a spot in our first production run and locking in your price — not a delivery date. We'll give you our best estimate, but manufacturing and shipping can shift. We'll always keep you informed.

Your pre-order is fully refundable, any time before it ships, no questions asked. When your kit is ready, we'll send you a link. You can request a refund right from that link — no email needed. If we don't hear from you within 30 days of your kit being ready, we'll refund you automatically and release your spot.

If we need to make a significant change to the product — the price, what's in the box, how it works — we'll let you know and give you the option to cancel for a full refund. Small adjustments and material substitutions don't count as significant changes.

Things outside our control — supply chain delays, weather, carrier issues, global events — can affect delivery. If that happens, we'll keep you updated and let you cancel for a full refund if you'd like.

All prices are in USD. Payments go through Stripe — we never see or store your card number. By checking out, you're also agreeing to Stripe's terms of service.

Sales tax is added at checkout where required by law. Shipping costs will be shown before you complete your order. If we ever display the wrong price, we'll reach out — you can pay the correct amount or cancel for a full refund.

Founder's pricing is available to the first 100 orders. Once those slots are gone, they're gone.

oibe is a pre-order right now — subscriptions don't exist yet. When future kits become available on a subscription basis, we'll always ask before enrolling you. Nothing automatic, ever.

When subscriptions do launch: you'll get at least 30 days notice before any price change, you can cancel before your next billing cycle with no penalty, and kits that have already shipped are non-refundable unless they're defective.

We ship within the United States. Once your kit leaves our hands and is with the carrier, the risk of loss passes to you — but if something gets lost in transit, reach out and we'll help sort it out.

Make sure your shipping address is accurate. We can't be responsible for packages that can't be delivered because of incorrect address information.

Pre-orders are fully refundable before your kit ships — no explanation needed. Refunds go back to your original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days. It'll show up as OIBE.COM on your statement.

If your kit arrives broken or defective, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund it. We don't accept returns on non-defective kits, but if something feels off, reach out — we'll make it right.

The Notice kit is designed to meet ASTM F963 toy safety standards. It contains small pieces — adult supervision is required at all times. It's designed for ages 4–6 with a parent or caregiver present; not for solo play. Keep tokens and small components away from children under 3.

If you give us your phone number at checkout, we'll use it to send you order updates — like when your kit is ready to ship and when it's on its way. These are transactional messages tied to your purchase and don't require a separate opt-in.

If you want marketing texts — new kit announcements, product news — we'll ask separately and explicitly. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Message frequency varies by order status. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Text messaging requires a mobile number. VOIP numbers (Google Voice, Skype, etc.) are not supported by wireless carriers for this type of message and will not receive texts.

Everything on this site — the oibe name, the phi mark, the product design, the books, the copy, the code — belongs to oibe PBC, LLC. You're welcome to use the site for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't reproduce or redistribute our content, or use our name and marks in any way that implies you're affiliated with us.

We stand behind the Notice kit. If something is defective or wrong, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund it. For anything else, reach out — we'll work to fix it. You also have the right to bring qualifying claims in small claims court.

THE OIBE WEBSITE AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OIBE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OIBE PBC, LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SITE, OUR PRODUCTS, OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF OIBE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OIBE'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO OIBE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some states don't allow these limits, so in those cases we'll follow what the law requires. If we can't resolve a dispute, Maryland law governs and disputes go to state or federal court in Baltimore City — by placing an order, you're agreeing to that venue.

We can update these Terms at any time. When we do, we'll post the new version here with an updated effective date. If you have an active order or subscription, we'll make a real effort to tell you directly about anything major. Continuing to use the site or keeping your order open after the update means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and your order confirmation are the complete agreement between us and replace anything discussed before.

If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision at one point doesn't mean we've given it up.

Neither of us can transfer our rights or obligations under these Terms without the other's consent. If oibe is acquired or merged, we can assign these Terms — but we'll notify you, and you can cancel your pre-order for a full refund if you'd prefer not to continue with the new entity.
